About

"All my clients are different. For a start, you're all at varying stages of your leadership journey. Wherever you are, you'll want to improve. When you engage me, I never judge. I want to learn who you are, and where you want to be. People own what they help to create, and changing the way we behave is a personal choice. You have the freedom to choose how far and how fast you take the journey. Ultimately, what matters is that you end up feeling confident, ready, and able to tackle any challenge.”

After over three decades in commercial business leadership, Kevin made the choice to switch gears. In 2008 he founded the Cogent Partnership, fulfilling his passion to partner with leaders to create successful outcomes. His innovative and unconventional approaches have been helping current and future leaders across the world succeed ever since.

Kevin held leadership and Partner positions in companies such as Procter and Gamble, KPMG Consulting, Inforte Corp, and IBM Global Business Services. His current clients include some of the most prestigious and demanding organisations in the world.

Having qualified in Business Studies in the UK, Kevin continued his professional development through various programmes in the USA and Europe, including at the IMD in Switzerland. He’s learned from some of the world’s most accomplished psychologists and business leaders, picking up certifications in Cognitive Behavioural Coaching and the Roche Martin Emotional Capital psychometric. Whilst working at  Inforte Corp, he also had the opportunity to work with – and learn from – Professor Michael Porter of Harvard, one of the world’s most influential thinkers on management and competitiveness.

"Your reactions confirmed to me 100% why I think you are so wonderful as Business Counsel, which is really about your honesty, bravery, insight and fantastically pithy real-time questions and comments. That is at the heart of why you can really help (powerful) people at the personal level, and is very rare and special."

Kevin’s deep belief in the value of Business Counsel led him to engage Professor Marcus Alexander, Adjunct Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship of The London Business School, as his own Counsel. Marcus introduced Kevin to LBS, where he’s been a valued guest speaker on their Mergers & Acquisitions Programme, providing a practitioner’s perspective.
